A weekend away in Prince Edward County is a total dream for any wine-lover or foodie as there are wineries, craft breweries, and cideries around every corner. The mix of fertile and rich limestone soils of the peninsula grow some incredible Pinot Noir and Chardonnay,  for impressive still and sparkling wine. Often compared to Burgundy or The Willamette Valley, this is an area to watch for Canadian Wines.

It is close enough for a weekend getaway or even a day trip from Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. Its no wonder that over the last decade the county has gone from a sleepy camping destination to a national treasure with farm-to-table restaurants, boutique hotels like The Drake Devonshire (a property by the famous Drake Hotel Toronto), and possibly even home to an international culinary school in coming years.

We’ve developed an infographic guide for you to enjoy all the highlights of ‘The County’ (as the locals refer to it) and help plan out your perfect route.
